Thomas J. Kemly Mr. Kemly was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer on December 31, 2011.

Mr. Kemly joined Columbia Bank in 1981 as a Management Trainee. Upon completion of the bank’s Management Training Program, he was promoted to Accounting Supervisor. Mr. Kemly has also held various positions within the accounting department, including as Controller; Vice President and Controller; Vice President and Chief Financial Officer; Senior Vice President, and Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2006.

Mr. Kemly serves on the Boards of the New Jersey Bankers Association and the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ) and is a member of the OCC Mutual Advisory Committee. He is also a Past President of the Financial Managers Society. Mr. Kemly earned Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Psychology from Trenton State College (now known as The College of New Jersey) and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University.

Mr. Kemly’s extensive experience in the local banking industry and involvement in business and civic organizations in the communities Columbia Bank serves affords the board of directors valuable insight regarding the business and operation of Columbia Bank. Mr. Kemly’s knowledge of Columbia Financial’s and Columbia Bank’s business and history, combined with his success and strategic vision, position him well to continue to serve as our President and Chief Executive Officer.

Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Edward Thomas Allen Jr. Mr. Allen joined Columbia Bank in 1994 as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. He has also held various positions within the finance department, including as Treasurer, Vice President and Treasurer, Senior Vice President and Treasurer, and Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. He was appointed Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer in 2015.

Prior to joining Columbia Bank, Mr. Allen served as a Financial Analyst for Irving Trust, Vice President of Finance for Lincoln Federal Savings Bank, and Senior Vice President and Treasurer for Crestmont Federal Savings Bank.

Mr. Allen serves as a member of the CFO Committee of the New Jersey Bankers Association, the Financial Managers Society of New York and New Jersey, and regularly volunteers his time in support of Habitat for Humanity and the Boy Scouts of America.

Mr. Allen earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Banking from the University of Missouri and an MBA in Financial Management from Pace University.

Joseph F. Dempsey Jr.

Executive Vice President, Head of Commercial Banking
Joseph F. Dempsey Jr. Mr. Dempsey was appointed as Executive Vice President, Head of Commercial Banking in September of 2018. Mr. Dempsey previously served as New Jersey Market President and Chair of Market Leadership Team, at JP Morgan Chase, where he directed Chase's middle market operations for the State of New Jersey before moving to Capital One as its Senior Regional Commercial Credit Officer. In that role, he was responsible for Middle Market lending activities in New Jersey, New York, Long Island and Pennsylvania.

Mr. Dempsey has served on the board of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey since 2008. Currently, he serves as a member of the Executive, Finance, and Audit Committees and also sits as Chair of the Investment Committee.

Mr. Dempsey holds a Bachelor's Degree from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. in Finance from New York University.

Dennis E. Gibney Mr. Gibney joined Columbia Bank in 2014 as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Columbia Bank, Mr. Gibney served as Principal at FinPro Capital Advisors, Inc., an investment banking and consulting firm specializing in the financial services industry.

Mr. Gibney graduated Magna Cum Laude from Babson College with a triple major in Finance, Investments and Economics. He has also earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Executive Vice President and Human Resources Officer
Geri M. Kelly Mrs. Kelly joined Columbia Bank in 1979 as a Personnel Clerk. She has also held various positions within the human resources department, including as Human Resources Officer, Vice President, Human Resources Officer and Senior Vice President, Human Resources Officer. She was appointed Executive Vice President, Human Resources Officer in 2012.

Mrs. Kelly serves as a member of the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey, the New Jersey Bankers Association, the Center for Financial Training and the March of Dimes. She was also the recipient of the Commerce and Industry Association’s “Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award,” presented for outstanding community volunteerism.”

Mrs. Kelly earned a Bachelor’s degree in Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages from Douglass College and an MBA in Business Administration from Rutgers University. She also graduated with Honors from the National School of Banking in Fairfield, Connecticut.
John Klimowich

Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer
John Klimowich Mr. Klimowich joined Columbia Bank in 1985 as a Junior Accountant. He has also held various positions within the accounting department, including as Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller and Senior Vice President, Controller. He was appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer in 2013.

Mr. Klimowich serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Fair Lawn’s All-Sports Program and is a volunteer Coordinator with Fair Lawn’s Youth Baseball Program. He previously served as a member of the National Financial Institutions Accounting Council (FIAC), as a National Board Member of the Financial Manager’s Society (FMS) and as Past President of the New York/New Jersey FMS Chapter.

Mr. Klimowich earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from William Paterson University and an MBA in Accounting from Seton Hall University.

Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer
Mark S. Krukar Mr. Krukar joined Columbia Bank in 1987 as a Commercial Lending Officer. He has also held various positions within the lending division, including as Vice President Commercial Lending and Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer. He was appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Lending Officer in 2012.

Mr. Krukar serves as a member of the New Jersey Builders Association and Garden State Credit Associates and serves as an Executive Committee member with the Skylands Tour de Cure, a cycling event that raises funds for the American Diabetes Association.

Mr. Krukar graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree and an MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Brian W. Murphy Mr. Murphy joined Columbia Bank in 1981 as a Management Trainee. Upon completion of the bank’s Management Training Program, he was promoted to Branch Manager. Mr. Murphy has also held various positions within the retail division, including as Branch Administrator and Senior Vice President, Branch Administration Officer. He was appointed Executive Vice President, Operations Officer in 2009.

Mr. Murphy serves as a member of the Archdiocese of Newark School Board and the Washington Township Planning Board. He is also a past Chairman of the North Jersey Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Murphy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from William Paterson University. He also graduated with Honors from the National School of Banking in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Executive Vice President, Head of Consumer Banking
Allyson Schlesinger Ms. Schlesinger was appointed as Executive Vice President, Head of Consumer Banking in September of 2018. Ms. Schlesinger was previously with Citigroup, Inc. for 25 years, most recently as its Managing Director, U.S. Retail and Division Manager for Citi's New York City and New Jersey markets.

Presently, Ms. Schlesinger serves on the corporate advisory board YWCA for the Boys and Girls Club of New Jersey.

Ms. Schlesinger holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Michigan.

Noel R. Holland Mr. Holland served as a partner in the law firm of Andersen & Holland, located in Midland Park, New Jersey, from January 1976 until his retirement in March 2017. Mr. Holland’s expertise as a partner in a law firm and his involvement in business and civic organizations in the communities Columbia Bank serves provide the board of directors with valuable insight. Mr. Holland’s years of providing legal counsel and operating a law office position him well to continue to serve as a director of a public company.

Frank Czerwinski Mr. Czerwinski served as Director of Real Estate Operations for Philip Morris Companies prior to his retirement. Mr. Czerwinski also served as Vice President of Real Estate Operations for the Olnick Organization and was responsible for overseeing all of the organization’s commercial activities. He has also developed and constructed a number of commercial properties in the New Jersey area. Mr. Czerwinski’s significant commercial real estate experience provides the board of directors with invaluable insight to the needs of the local communities that Columbia Bank serves.

Raymond G. Hallock Mr. Hallock served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Columbia Bank from January 2002 until his retirement in December 2011. Mr. Hallock previously served as an audit manager with KPMG LLP and specialized in financial institutions. Mr. Hallock is also a Past Chairman of the New Jersey League of Community Bankers. Mr. Hallock’s extensive experience in the local banking industry and involvement in business, civic and charitable organizations in the communities Columbia Bank serves affords the board of directors with valuable insight regarding the business and operations of Columbia Bank.

Elizabeth E. Randall Ms. Elizabeth E. Randall serves as a Commissioner of the Bergen County Improvement Authority and also currently serves as a member of the audit committee of the New Jersey Municipal Excess Liability Fund. From 2004 to 2006, Ms. Randall served on the Bergen County Board of Chosen Freeholders. Prior to that, Ms. Randall served as the New Jersey Commissioner of Banking and Insurance. Ms. Randall also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bergen County YWCA. Ms. Randall’s service as an elected and appointed government official provides the board of directors with invaluable insight to the needs of the local communities that Columbia Bank serves.

John R. Salvetti Mr. Salvetti is a Principal in the accounting and consulting firm of S.R. Snodgrass, P.C., which specializes in service to clients in the financial services industry. Mr. Salvetti served as the firm’s President and Chief Executive Officer for many years and is currently the director of the firm’s consulting division, which provides strategic planning, enterprise risk management and performance advisory services to financial institutions. He also serves as an instructor, author and frequent conference speaker. Mr. Salvetti’s extensive knowledge of the banking industry and strong leadership skills provide the board of directors with insight and guidance into the financial, business and regulatory requirements of the banking environment.

Robert Van Dyk Mr. Van Dyk has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Van Dyk Health Care, a health care services company, since July 1994 and the President and Chief Executive Officer of two other hospitals since 1980. He serves on many charitable and civic organizations, including colleges, universities, hospitals, religious organizations and foundations within the communities that Columbia Bank serves. In addition, Mr. Van Dyk has been actively involved in Washington, DC for the past 20 years, where he served as chairman of two separate national health care organizations. Mr. Van Dyk’s strong business background, as well as his experience and expertise with respect to regulated industries, provides the board of directors with invaluable insight to the needs of the local communities that Columbia Bank serves.
